Evie's Warriors, for lack of a better explanation, honestly got started on accident. Joe and I hosted a trivia night in 2014 to help us pay off the outstanding NICU bills from Evie's birth and her first few surgeries. The event was held at a VFW hall and was successful in that we were able to pay off all of her bills. We were brought to tears! 

As people were leaving the event many shouted "see ya next year!" and I thought to myself..."Next year? This was a one time gig!" But then we got to thinking. Maybe we could help other families with proceeds from our trivia night. And so we planned another trivia night for the next year - this time at a much larger location. Since that time we have continued to grow, have changed locations again for larger space, and have added a golf shootout! 

We have traditionally held golf in the spring and trivia night in the fall. But year after year we saw the same things happening. It was rainy and cold at golf and people were busy with moving kiddos to college or last minute vacations before the holidays. So for 2020 we are switching things up! See below for more details. 

7th Annual Trivia Night

MAY 16, 2020: This year we are so excited to present a Rock N Roll themed trivia night! Come dressed in your best rock n roll inspired attire and be entered to win a prize! 

This year we are also teaming up with Fire Truck O Toys! In years past we have collected food items for Cardinal Glennon but this year we are switching it up. Evie was greatly impacted by Fire Truck O Toys last year and truly experienced their mission to bring Christmas joy to all kids admitted around the holidays. So this year we are collecting new, unwrapped toys for this amazing organization. Drop a toy in the box when you arrive for an extra mulligan for your table! 

5th Annual Golf Shootout

SEPTEMBER 26, 2020: We have rescheduled this year's golf shootout to September in hopes of avoiding torrential downpour! Registration will begin at 8am with first swings taking place at 9am. 

As in years past we will provide a variety of beer, soda and water as well as a meal ticket for lunch after the event. You can also expect another year of beautiful trophies, designed by Evie herself!
