Evie took her first independent steps over the weekend of March 9th, 2015! Her first steps were with her old orthotics which were too small and did not allow her foot to function the best it could. Now that Evie has her new orthotics she is primarily walking! Can you believe that?? Evie’s primary mode of transportation is walking…before the age of 2. We are so incredibly proud of her and her physical therapist, Susan, is ecstatic at her dramatic increase in strength and ability.
We just ordered Evie’s own gait trainer/walker which (of course) will be bright pink!! We can’t wait for her to get her new walker and show off 🙂
